What we do

Hausa language services for a global audience

One team, five services, two working languages. We teach people to speak Hausa, and we help organisations speak to Hausa-speaking audiences accurately and with respect.

Why it works

Training and production in the same team

Most language providers do one thing. We teach Hausa every week and we produce Hausa every week, which means the two sides keep each other honest.

  • Translators who teach. Our language work is done by native Hausa speakers who also stand in front of learners, so they explain decisions rather than hide behind them.
  • Terminology that is checked. When we agree a term with a client, the same term is used the next time — and it is taught to learners the same way.
  • Culture is part of the brief. Greetings, respect, proverbs and religious vocabulary change meaning. We ask about your audience before we start, not after.
  • Confidential by default. Sensitive documents and recordings are handled by the named people working on your project, under confidentiality, with an NDA available on request.
  • One point of contact. Lessons, translation, transcription and voice work are coordinated from one place, so nothing is lost between suppliers.

How it works

From first message to finished work

The same four steps whether you are booking lessons or commissioning a project.

01

Tell us the goal

Send a short message or book a 30-minute consultation. For a project, send the material or a description of it, plus your deadline.

02

Get a plan and a quote

We confirm scope — level and schedule for lessons, or length, format and delivery date for a project — and quote for that scope.

03

We do the work

Lessons run live at times that suit your time zone. Translation, transcription and voice work is produced by native speakers and checked before it reaches you.

04

Review and adjust

You review the delivery or your progress, and we work through your feedback. Ongoing learners get regular progress reviews.

Ways to work with us

Pick the path that fits your goal

Everything is quoted individually, because a weekly lesson plan and a 200-page translation are not the same job.

Individual learners

Weekly or twice-weekly private lessons for professionals, students, expatriates, missionaries and families — starting from nothing or sharpening what you already have.

Questions

Before you choose a service

Yes. Multi-part projects — a questionnaire set with consent forms, a series of episodes, a report with annexes — are planned as one job so terminology, names and style stay consistent from the first page to the last.

Every sentence we deliver is produced and reviewed by a native Hausa speaker who works in English too. Automatic tools, where they are used at all, never replace that human work on anything carrying your name.

Yes. Work is handled by the named team members on your project under confidentiality, and we can sign an NDA before you send anything. Medical, legal, research and NGO material is routine for us.

A 30-minute consultation for lessons, or a written quote for project work. Either way you will get a straight answer about scope, timeline and cost before anything begins.
